The VALEO company is a part of a multinational group, which is focused on design, manufacturing and sale of systems, modules and components for automotive industry. Situation
VALEO accentuates observance of all requirements regarding to the protection of sensitive components of the electrostatic charge (ESD). Observance of all ESD processes is regularly controlled by ESD auditors and coordinators. Any discrepancy is recorded and eliminated. The company implemented a comprehensive ESD program based on national and international standards. Staff and visitors have to go through measuring devices placed in the entrances to the operation.

The aim is to supply a server application to the measuring stands, that will process the measured data and at the same time it will inform the workers about the state of measurement. Responsible staff will have access to the system web interface, where the overview of the measurements will be available.

The system for measuring ESD in VALEO Rakovník (hereinafter referred to as " ESD measurement”) consists of hardware equipment - measuring equipment ESD, converters MOXA NE-4110, Dallas chip readers, serial printer for printing the measurement results, the control computer and software equipment - management applications for measuring ESD, data source consisted of SQL server and Web portal for displaying the measurement and setting applications.
