The aim of SEPS company is to reliably operate the power transmission system, ensure its supervisory management, maintenance, rehabilitation and development so as to guarantee reliable and quality supply of electricity.
Situation
The SEPS company has on its distribution points and substations control and monitoring systems of different suppliers. The requirement was to build a dispatching centre with telewall, where would be shown the individual results of monitoring systems with the possibility of their control and with acoustic signaling of defects.
Business Objectives
The requirement was to implement such a system that would not affect the operation of existing systems and also allow transmission of screen image on dispatching.
Solutions
Telewall manager is used to manage remote stations. It allows their monitoring (display of monitors screens, sound detection etc.). It is designed for the matrix assembly of several monitors, assembled in telewall. It has great application in plants, where more computers are needed to be controlled and managed by the minimum number of users. AdderLink IP serves for video transmission between the control computer and telewall. It enables transmission of video, keyboard and mouse via data network using the VNC protocol.
Benefits
Specified requirements of the customer were fully satisfied by deployment of TeleWall manager. Dispatching with telewall, where required data from different data sources are displayed, was built.
